Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Zen. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action".
The first expression of this class was developed by William Lee Rand and other healers at the International Center for Reiki Training. In all Reiki energy, we pray for help from the Higher Power and ask to connect to the healing energy that would be of greater benefit. During this process when William found the powerful eight symbols, he was guided to more clearly define the system and to name it Karuna Reiki®. The Holy Fire® energy refines and enhances the effectiveness of the Karuna healing energy and the energy of the Karuna symbols.
By taking this class, all your reiki classes will be upgraded to Holy Fire® III. This includes Reiki1, II, Advanced Reiki Training /Master Class. Instead of Reiki 1, II, Master class attunements, Placements will be given and in the Usui Reiki Master class, Ignitions (more powerful energy) will be given. In Karuna's class, the energies of all the symbols are upgraded to Holy Fire® energies making them more refined and effective.
